Junction’s family atmosphere is the ideal educational setting
for students who are seeking alternatives to traditional high schools.
Palouse Junction offers strong basic-skills programs and personalized
education for students with different learning styles. Our programs
target students with a wide variety of individual educational needs,
desires, and learning styles. Among them, a significant number are already
highly capable, self-directed, independent learners. Other students
with specialized needs include those with learning differences, students
who need credit retrieval, have had attendance problems, or have otherwise
fallen behind in the public system; those who need more individualized
instruction and/or a custom curriculum; and students who are interested
in combining independent learning with employment opportunities.

Robert Olds
Junior High serves 7th and 8th grade students. They are offered basic
education classes in language arts, math, science, social studies, and
physical education. Exploratory classes include band, technology, exploration,
and art. Reading is emphasized every day at Olds. Students are expected
to read a minimum of 20-25 minutes during each school day. Educational
activities reinforce the importance of communication between students
and teachers.
